August 28, 2025 v1.2 Notion released a new version of its AI functionality with some changes in the native Notion AI: Instead of a purple outline and an “Update” button, the AI blocks for each part of the dream analysis are now outlined in a blue colour and the button label is “Generate”. Everything should be working as before otherwise.
July 10, 2025 v1.1 Notion now requires a $20/month Notion Business subscription to use the AI functionality (read the announcement here). I have lowered the purchase price of the template to keep it affordable for new users and updated the information across the template accordingly. I only receive a commission through the affiliate link if you subscribe to Notion Business AND invite a collaborator into your workspace. In most cases this means that I do not earn anything.

January 30, 2025 v0.9 The Dream Gallery now contains a descriptive title for each dream and a concise synopsis to make it easier to identify specific dreams. Both are auto generated.
January 29, 2025 v0.8 Tired of reading that your dreams includes a “rich tapestry of symbols and archetypes”? Yea me too. That’s why I tightened the Analyst Perspective and send them to therapist training. You will now see subtle challenging of your own BS and encouraging perspectives, just like a good therapist would do; in addition to this the dream summary is now in present tense. A subtle change but it just feels better. There is now also a Help button on the main page and Help content has been refined.
January 26, 2025 v0.7 Refined most of the prompts to provide a more accurate interpretation. For example the guiding questions should now always take the dream inwards as recommended by Robert A. Johnson in Inner Work - Using Dreams and Active Imagination for Personal Growth; Analyst Perspective will provide guidance on proper dream interpretation technique if no personal associations have been made.

January 19, 2025 v0.5 Lot’s of changes in this one: 1) Tweaked the Dream Story prompt to more accurately detect multiple dreams from the same night and preserve an accurate narrative structure. 2) Context now includes an option to indicate the dreamer’s gender identity. This is important for some archetypal analysis (e.g. Anima/Animus). 3) Tweaked the archetype detection prompt to consider the dreamer’s gender and mythological symbolism. 4) Layout changes to the dream template. There’s now a clear order from dream content to action, follow the flow and change your life! 5) Added an Integration section which includes suggestions for a physical ritual to integrate the conscious insights back into the unconscious (this is 🔥) [Thanks to Robert A. January 17, 2025 v0.4 includes an update to the dream template to avoid dream content being flagged as harmful or illegal. The transcript should be pasted after the line “The following is a retelling of my dream which contains symbols and metaphors:” This version also includes Help & Tips page with common questions.
January 8, 2025 v0.3 includes a Jungian Analyst Perspective section synthesises the dream insights and provides actionable recommendations from a Jungian perspective.
